Why is Rebuilding Together needed?

The correlation between household income and housing needs is undeniable, especially for lower income homeowners.
* 76,000 homes in the city and county are substandard
* Falls are the leading cause of death among people 65 and over
* Home repairs and modifications decrease the incidence of home injury by 50%.
